Consulting work means inheriting a platform someone else designed, under constraints you did not choose, and improving it without breaking the reporting that runs on it. It is harder than building from scratch. Most of our engineering time goes into work of that kind.
We are not advertising specific roles at the moment. New work arrives in stages, so we prefer to meet strong engineers before a vacancy opens and there is pressure to fill it quickly.

Introductory call
We spend forty-five minutes on what you have built and what you want to build next. We also describe the engagements that are running at the time, including the repetitive parts of them.

Technical conversation
We work through a problem of the kind that comes up on a live engagement. You can ask questions and look things up, and you can change your approach once you have started. There are no timed puzzles and no algorithm exercises.

Practical exercise
We agree on a scoped piece of work in advance. It should take a few hours and we pay for your time on it. The intellectual property in what you produce stays with you.

Offer
You speak with the person you would report to, and that conversation covers scope, progression and compensation. We then send a written offer.
Our engineering team is based in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. Client work runs across United States time zones, and the expectations on hours and overlap depend on the engagement. We confirm those on the first call.
